Woodchurch High School continues to achieve excellent examination results. There are year-on-year improvements in our results, due to high quality teaching and targeted intervention:

3. Excellent Facilities
Woodchurch High School provides excellent facilities. Our new building was opened to pupils in September 2010, and officially opened by the Archbishop of York in March 2011. The new £25 million school building boasts the very latest facilities, including a Third Generation pitch.
4. Anglican Ethos
Woodchurch High School is an Academy with a Church of England Trust. Woodchurch High School is the only school within the Wirral offering an Anglican ethos that underpins the work of the school. It is this ethos that makes the school distinctive. Schools with a Church of England affiliation on average achieve 12% higher grades than similar schools in the maintained sector.
