GCSE Results Day 2019

Our GCSE Results 2018/19

Woodchurch High is extremely proud of all of its pupils and their recent GCSE results. The exam timetable was particularly busy this year, due to a reduction in coursework and an increase in examinations, in a number of subjects across the curriculum. Pupils showed a great deal of resilience throughout the 5 week exam period and endured the challenge with positive attitudes. A total of 68.3% of pupils secured a pass or better in English, along with 58.8% in Maths. It is also very pleasing to report that 56.6% of the Year 11 cohort achieved 5 passes or better, including English and Maths. These results are even more impressive, as Woodchurch High School is a mixed ability inclusive school, which caters for the whole ability range.
