On Friday 18th March 10 members of the Go4Green committee spent a really productive half day. Chaired as usual by Elle and Lottie from Year 11 the group carried out a detailed Environmental Review of our new school’s energy, waste, recycling, biodiversity, litter and much more. Most of it came out well but there were some definite areas for improvement and these were put into an action plan. We need to increase the amount of paper we are recycling, reduce litter and make sure that only plastic bottles and cans go in the big clear bins.

Last week the group had a very interesting meeting with Ms Phillips who commented:

“I am very impressed by the commitment of these young people and their desire to work with the pupils and staff of Woodchurch High School in raising awareness of environmental issues and constantly improving the environment.”
