On Monday a group of Year 11 pupils boarded the HMS Prince of Wales in Liverpool, as part of our Careers and Enterprise programme. Pupils were able to explore the aircraft carrier, and given the opportunity to sit in helicopters such as the Chinook and the Merlin.
Pupils also had the opportunity to discuss and ask questions about the many engineering roles available to them both in the military and locally.
They were able to witness first hand how members of the military demonstrate service to our country, a Christian Value we hold dear. All pupils thoroughly enjoyed the unique experience! Miss Quigley and Mr Bannon.
