The week starting Monday 10th July was our termly Bike2School Week where cyclists are rewarded for making good travel decisions. Cycling is not only eco friendly but it helps pupils keep fit.
The number of pupils cycling that week averaged 63 a day, which is excellent. On Wednesday forty pupils arrived at the bike sheds between 8.15 and 8.35, and were able to collect the raffle tickets to exchange for a free Bikers Breakfast.
On Friday 14th July there was a prize draw for a 10 Love To Shop voucher. 71 pupils came on their bikes that day and the lucky winner of the voucher was Lucas, 8YV.
In September the new Year 7 pupils will have the opportunity to take part in Level 3 Bikeability training on Tuesday September 26th.
