Health and Social Care Visits to Foxfield

Health and Social Care Visits to Foxfield

Pupils from both Year 10 GCSE Health and Social Care classes have recently visited Foxfield School. The purpose of the visits was to find out about the needs of the pupils there and the ways these needs are met. Mr Howley, Deputy Head, kindly showed us round and we went into a number of classrooms to see what was happening. We also saw the excellent resources such as the two pools, sensory room, music and drama room and the safe play area.

The visits have been extremely helpful to pupils in terms of their controlled assessment, which is about an individual with specific needs.
