Foxfield School Visit
Health and Social Care Visit to Foxfield School
On Monday 29th February, one of the Year 11 BTEC Health and Social Care classes went on a visit to Foxfield School in order to enhance their learning about individual needs. The pupils were shown round the impressive facilities by Mr Ledson and particularly liked the pools and the sensory room.
This was a great opportunity for the pupils to find out more about the excellent provision and care provided at Foxfield; they visited a practice for the school show, spoke to the nurse and other teachers, and met some of the pupils. At the end of the visit Mr Ledson invited pupils back to actually spend more time in classrooms, and this is something that many said they were keen to do. WE look forward to continuing to work closely with Foxfield in the future.
