Holocaust Memorial Day
On Holocaust Memorial Day 2016, pupils from our school took part in a conference to remember and learn from events of the past. During the day, pupils from Year 8 and Year 9 listened to a talk from a second generation Holocaust survivor and took park in three workshops based on anti-Semitism and the application of the Christian value of Forgiveness to past events.
It was an incredibly moving and emotional day. Pupils were captivated by what Freddie (our speaker) had to say and were anxious to express their conviction of justice for all humanity.
