One of the Year 11 BTEC Health and Social Care groups has recently been studying Health Promotion. Having found out what it is, and why it is important they set about researching a health risk of their choice. The topics they chose included: Alcohol, Smoking, Obesity, Unsafe Sex, Unhealthy Diet and Anorexia.
After researching the risks and effects, each pupil made their own eye-catching and informative poster or leaflet. These were then used to make an excellent Health display in the foyer at lunchtime on Thursday 5 March. Well done to all pupils involved, and thank to all pupils and staff who visited the display.
