Friday 20th September 2019

As a Green Flag school Woodchurch High School is always thinking about the environment and is keen to develop different ways to protect it. A member of the Eco Committee recently noticed a lot of litter along the perimeter fence on Carr Bridge Road. School registered with the Big Tidy Up Campaign and contacted Ian Grant, Community Life Champion from Asda Arrowe Park.

On the afternoon of Tuesday 24 February fourteen Eco Committee members along with Ms Oldham, Ian Grant and Mark Hughes Deputy Manager from Asda went out onto the estate to do a litter pick. As you can see from the photo they filled quite a few bags.

Friday March 20th is national Big Clean Up Day, so the group plans to do another litter pick then. If no-one dropped litter this would not be needed, so please take your litter home with you, don t drop it outside (or in school).
