COMMUNITY CHALLENGE

Pupils from Woodchurch High School were pleased to help with a Community Car Park clean in Bebington used by both local businesses and Life Church. Pupils from 8XZ came away amazed with the work they had done, and the work of the church in the local community.

Writing about the event, Rebecca wrote:

“On Thursday our form went on our Archbishop of York award community challenge.

We cleaned up all of the glass, rubbish and stones. We filled a whole skip.

We used gloves, shovels and loppers to cut down big branches and trees. Luckily the weather stayed nice all day and we could get all the work done quickly.”

It was great to see our pupils actively engaged with making a difference in the world and in the Wirral community and we look forward to working with other organisations over the next few months.
