VISIT TO FOXFIELD SCHOOL
On Wednesday 18th June one of the Year 9 GCSE Health and Social Care groups spent the morning at Foxfield School in Moreton. The visit was to help pupils with their research for their controlled assessment on individuals with specific needs. We were given a tour by Mr Fitzgerald and Mr Howley, and saw the facilities such as the pools, sensory room and quiet rooms that help to cater for pupils individual needs.
We also saw pupils learning Makaton, having physiotherapy and mobile therapy on a trampoline. It was a fascinating visit, and we are looking forward to being their neighbours very soon when they move into their new school.
