GREEN GOODBYES

On Wednesday 11th June the Go4Green Committee met to say goodbye to the Year 11 s on the group. Emma was the longest-standing member, having joined the group when she was in Year 7. Emma and Sam have both played a phenomenal role over the years and were always keen to help with audits, litter art and recycling competitions. The other 2 members we said goodbye to were Cameron and Andrew.

Cameron has been an excellent link with the school farm and it was Andrew who originally asked if school could get some chickens. We duly did, and they were the first animals on site. Since then the livestock have increased into the amazingly successful and popular farm that we have today. We are very grateful for the great contributions these four pupils have made.

All in all it was a sad day for the group but the sadness was offset somewhat by the beautiful eco cake!
