The last week of term was Bike2School Week which was celebrated with many different activities to do with cycling.

On Monday over 40 pupils attended a Safe Cycling assembly led by PCSO Sharon Broderick. On Tuesday BikeRight ran cycle training for 8 cyclists in Years 7-9. The instructors were impressed by the attitudes of the pupils and they will all be receiving certificates. Also on Tuesday pupils who arrived by bike or scooter before 8.30 were entitled to a free breakfast.

Finally on Friday there were Easter Eggs galore! Three were awarded to the winners of the Year 7 cycle helmet design competition - Morgan, Emily and Georgia, and there was a Prize Draw for the 34 pupils who cycled or scooted to school that day. Well done to Kieran, Joe and Louis who each won an egg!
