Some Year 10 Health and Social Care pupils recently had the opportunity to experience firsthand what it is like to care for a newborn baby. In partnership with the NHS, the pupils were trained on how to care for their babies and then had to look after them from 5 pm on Thursday to 10 am Sunday.

The babies demand a lot of care - feeding, nappy changes, burping and rocking but the girls coped very well, although they were no doubt quite relieved when the baby switched off and they could catch up on some sleep!

Special congratulations go to Aishlyn who scored a fantastic 98%.
