Year 7, 8, and 9 have recently taken part in Number day this is a charitable event that raises money and awareness for the NSPCC. Since it was launched in 2000, NSPCC Number Day has raised over 1.1 million for our work with vulnerable children across the UK.
The aim of number day is to make maths fun and instigate a positive ‘can do’ attitude towards it. Students took part in number day in one of their maths lessons this week. The lesson involved enriching activities and team work. Students were asked to bring in a donation of 1 each to take part in the events. The money that has been raised so far is 350.
