SPARKS TRIP TO LIVERPOOL LIBRARY
On the morning of the 14th of November, SPARKS pupils were lucky enough to experience their reading session in the beautiful surroundings of the newly re-furbished Liverpool Central library. The pupils were treated to a full tour from the manager, Mr Taylor, and a lesson on the libraries historical links to Liverpool. Lunch on the roof was cut short by adverse weather but not before a timely break in the clouds ensured the children, Mrs Dougherty and Mrs Martin got to see fantastic views of the city from this incredible vantage point.
All of the pupils had a wonderful time, and so did the staff. It is a place that if you have not already had the pleasure to go and see for yourself then do so. You won’t be disappointed.
I had a brilliant time, it is fascinating.
We got to see the oldest book ever, it was behind a glass case.
