Our Open Evening and Open Day in early May this year were a huge success. We had over 600 prospective parents attend the evening and 100 the Open Day. Parents and pupils had the opportunity to tour the school, and speak to staff and pupils about their experiences in the school. The Headteacher met parents and delivered a presentation about the school.

Year 10 provided prefects to help with the organisation of these events. They were an absolute credit to the school our best ambassadors are the pupils themselves. In addition to the prefects, almost 600 other pupils volunteered to assist on the night and helped in the various curriculum areas.

Prospective pupils, besides touring the ain school building also had the opportunity to tour the Farm and the School Sports Centre.

Feedback received from our visitors was glowing and included the following comments:

  • Your pupils were amazing
  • School was so welcoming and the pupils were a credit to you
  • I see why you are proud of your school
  • The facilities are excellent
  • I know if my child comes to this school they will do well
  • Daniel loved the sports hall and the 3G pitch
  • Lessons were fun but focussed

If for any reason you missed our Open Evening or Open Day, we will be holding another one in the new academic year, but in the meantime, you are most welcome to visit at any mutually convenient time please call the school for more details.
