I have endeavoured in this Ghostly little book,
to raise the Ghost of an Idea,
which shall not put my readers out of humour
with themselves, with each other,
with the season, or with me.

May it haunt their houses pleasantly,
and no one wish to lay it.

Their faithful Friend and Servant,

With a talented cast from Year 7,8 and 9 our Drama enthusiasts are currently rehearsing Charles Dickens’ classic tale – A Christmas Carol. The first performance is scheduled for Monday 17th December and it promises to be a fitting way to kick off the festive season. Whilst telling the well known story of cold-hearted Ebenezer Scrooge who begrudged giving his lowly clerk Bob Cratchit time off for Christmas Day, and how visits from three spirits woke him from his stingy stupor to the realisation that money isn’t everything, every single cast member shines.

“It’s kind of a team effort; whatever your role is you feel needed, important,” Charlotte
We hope to be recording the performance and sharing it on the schools website so that we can share our Christmas Message with everyone. In the words of Luke who plays Tiny Tim “ it’s not to be missed, so don’t!”

Drama Club meet in the Drama Studio after school on a Monday with extra rehearsal time prior to performances on a Thursday lunchtime. New members are always welcome, just pop along and join in!
