Anne-Marie Salisbury attended Woodchurch between 1997 and 2002. Mr Rogers was her form teacher and the form was YN. She took Biology, Chemistry and Psycology A-Level at Birkenhead Sixth Form College and got 3 B grades. Ann-Marie did her degree at the University of Liverpool and acheived a 1st Class (Hons) BSc in Life Sciences applicable to Medicine. She was then employed as a laboratory technician for 1 year and started her PhD at Leahurst.

Ann-Marie spent 4 years studying her PhD. It was on Salmonella Virchow infection and the immune responses in poultry. She is now looking for microbiology based jobs at the University and there are also opportunities for microbiology jobs or research jobs in industries such as the pharmaceutical or food industry.

After all her hard work and dedication Anne-Marie got her reward. Her tile is now "Dr Ann-Marie Salisbury".

Well Done Ann-Marie!
