WORK EXPERIENCE

This year has once again overall been a great success for our Year 10 pupils undertaking Work Experience.

As is the case every single year, there was much excellent feedback from employers about our pupils. Quite simply, there were so many good and positive things said, that to record them all would more than double the size of this article! It is true to say that by far our best ambassadors are our pupils:

In summary, some of the feedback we received included:

  1. Joe – Holy Spirit CE/RC Primary School: Joe is a credit to Woodchurch High School. He uses his imitative. His attitude is excellent
  2. Ellen – Foxfield School: Ellen has been great. She is a good role model for our pupils and is very caring and supportive
  3. Tony – Overton Nursery & Pre-School: It has been a pleasure having Tony work with us on Work Experience
  4. Sam – Wirral Water Gardens: Sam is a very friendly person, he has completed all tasks, so much so, we have offered him a part-time job
  5. Poppy Tam O’Shanter Farm: Really enjoyed having Poppy with us, found it rewarding
  6. Melissa – DDS Limited: Mel is very polite and a lovely person to work with. She worked extremely well
  7. Seth – Tafel Musik: Friendly and helpful manner, works well with other members of staff, willing to help and learn
  8. Alex – Building Blocks Nursery: Alex has formed good relationships with children in such a short space of time. Alex demonstrates initiative and courtesy
  9. Jessica – RS Dept, Woodchurch High: Jessica has displayed a positive attitude at all times. She has become a valued member of the team
  10. Jack – The Elecy Shop: Excellent worker has carried out a number of tasks that have required responsibility
  11. Dillon – Savex Material Handling: Really pleased with Dillon, he’s fitted in well with crew
  12. Alisha – Woodchurch High School Farm: Excellent attitude and enthusiasm. Very co-operative and willing to ‘have a go’
  13. Leigh – Toni & Guy Salon: Leigh has been an absolute joy to have with us, she has been pleasant, well mannered and hardworking. She has great initiative
  14. Adam – Somerville Primary School: It should be noted that Adam has been well received by the staff at Somerville. We are grateful for the contribution he has made
  15. Claire – HM Courts and Tribunals Service: Excellent attitude, keen to learn, motivated, polite and courteous
  16. Lewis – Total Fitness: Lewis has a very good working attitude and is happy to complete all tasks given. He has a very good rapport with staff
  17. Matthew – Hilton Hotel: Very enthusiastic, willing to do any task given and always with a smile. A credit to your school
  18. Thomas – Liverpool Crown Court: Excellent attitude to work, eager to learn, motivated, polite and courteous
  19. Rowan – Stanley School: Rowan used her initiative well and was eager to please at all times
  20. Shannon – St. Peters Primary: Shannon was a great help to me this week. She was willing to help and had great relationships with the children
  21. Jordan – It was an absolute pleasure having Jordan on Work Experience, he was very well behaved, had a great attitude and put effort in to every task required of him
  22. Molly – Fender Primary School: Positive attitude with staff and children. The children enjoyed their time with Molly. Thanks
  23. James – Overchurch Infant School: James’ attitude has been great, always willing to help and has had a lovely relationship with the children. They certainly took a shine to him and treated him with like any other adult in the school
  24. Joe – NHS Arrowe Park: Joe enjoyed his time with us and was very interested in all aspects of the trade
  25. Ryan – ASDA Bakery: Excellent. Only with us for a short time, but done really well
  26. Samuel – Merseyside Police: Sam was punctual and turned up well presented every day. He was highly motivated and showed a positive and enthusiastic attitude. A credit to Woodchurch High School
  27. Ben – Rainhill High School: Ben was a great help and worked really well with the team, he was really pro-active. Thanks for your help Ben!
  28. Stephanie – Little Robins Day Nursery: Stephanie has worked really hard within the setting, carrying out any tasks given to her to a high standard. Steph maintained good relationships with both staff and pupils
  29. Zac – Firbobs Out of School Club: Zac has been really helpful. He has been very polite and has a sensible and mature attitude to work.
  30. Devon – Overchurch Junior School: Devon has worked with great imitative and diligence. He has been happy to undertake all tasks in school. He has been polite and helpful to adults and children
  31. Ellie and Courtney – Dundoran Nursing Home: Excellent behaviour, great ambassadors for the school
  32. Colbin, Charlie, Arron and Kelsey – St. Josephs Upton: Your students were a delight; they were a credit to themselves and to their school. You should be extremely proud of them
