The last week of last term was Bike to School Week with a number of special events to encourage and reward the many pupils who cycle to and from school. Despite cold windy weather on many days of the week we still had 25-35 pupils cycling every day.

On Tuesday free Bikers’ Breakfasts were given to everyone who cycled and on Friday there was a prize draw for a £20 Rampworx voucher and 2 sets of bike lights.  The photo shows the winners with their prizes.

Our School Travel Plan advisor thinks that Woodchurch High has the greatest number of cyclists out of all the Wirral secondary schools. Well done!
