REMEMBRANCE DAY

The Headteacher kindly allowed those pupils and staff who are in the Cadet Services; Sea Cadets, Army Cadet and Air Cadets to attend school wearing their cadet uniform. Today was a day to remember all those who have fought for freedom against oppression of any kind and especially to remember those who have fell in two World Wars. It is also a day to think of those who have laid down their lives for others in recent conflicts. Pupils from all three main Cadet Services came together at 10.50am, forming a platoon to pay their respects. 28 of us stood to attention as the last post played.

We will all be on parade on this Sunday 13th November around the Wirral.

Pupils were also selling poppies to raise money to help the ‘Poppy Appeal’.
