On Wednesday 15th June, 2011 18 Year 10 GCSE Catering pupils spent the day at Reaseheath College, Nantwich. All of the pupils were given a prospectus outlining the wide range of courses offered at Reaseheath along with a free canvas bag and other information about the college. During the day the pupils put on white overalls, blue hair nets and shoes to work in the newly refurbished dairy kitchen. Here they made and tasted a range of cheeses.
The lovely sunny weather meant that the pupils were able to eat their lunch outside, in the beautiful grounds of Reaseheath. The pupils really enjoyed their visit and would like to thank Debbie Heritage Brill (Food Lecturer at Reaseheath,) Mrs H. Anderson, (Catering teacher,) M/s E. Taylor, (who drove the mini bus,) Mrs D. McKay and Mrs A. Smith, (the two teaching assistants,) who accompanied the pupils.
