11-15 April was Woodchurch High School’s latest Bike To School Week when we celebrated breaking all school records for the number of pupils cycling to school. The Go4Green committee are delighted to announce that there are often over 50 pupils cycling, and one day recently they counted 66 bikes in the shed. A fantastic achievement and thanks to everyone who has made this happen!
On Tuesday all cyclists were rewarded with a delicious free breakfast from the Breakfast Club and on the last day of term 3 cyclists won Easter eggs in the prize draw.
We recently had a visit from Catherine Brownlow, a Wirral School Travel Plan advisor who came to congratulate us on the record number of cyclists. She wanted to know how we had done it, so she can help other secondary schools follow or lead!
