FACILITIES and HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER

APT&C Scale PO1 - £26,835 - £28,919 p.a. (Full Time Contract – 35 hrs pw)

Woodchurch High School requires a highly motivated individual to be responsible for all aspects of Facilities and Health & Safety and take a lead role in managing and developing the School Facility and Sports Complex within school and the extended community.

The school is in the process of a major building programme to replace the present school with a new £25.5 million School of the Future to be opened in September 2010. The person appointed will be required to support the School Leadership Team in this major project.

The successful candidate will have an excellent track record in the management of people and the ability to challenge the work of self and others to continually improve performance. A confident manner and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Previous experience at a middle management level and in an Educational environment is desirable but not essential. Applicants should be flexible, positive and able to demonstrate an ability to evaluate and solve problems. Excellent IT skills are essential.
