Woodchurch High School is a recognised hub school for this new ITT programme. Along with the other schools in our cluster we are involved in recruitment and selection and offer school placements.
As a school we are committed to developing, through training, the whole school workforce.
We have a strong commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD), coaching, mentoring, induction and training the future school workforce (both teaching and support staff). It is our vision to support other schools and agencies in their desire to also develop their workforce.
Although these opportunities have been split into ‘school’, ‘community’ ‘parents’ and ‘other’ please feel free to access any training from each of the ‘streams’ as appropriate.
There is no charge for any of the events.

Your child is probably already learning a Modern Foreign Language at school.
Young children learn languages fast. Will you be able to keep up with them? You may feel you need a quick refresher course. You may just want to be able to communicate with people in their own language when you go on holiday!
Language teaching methods are quite different nowadays and you will be surprised at the rapid progress you can make. Learning a language is fun and is also a proven form of brain-training!
As a Training School, Woodchurch High is able to provide you with a unique opportunity to learn a language alongside your child/children. We are offering evening courses in both basic French and Spanish. The classes are open to parents/guardians and any school-age children in your family. Cost: £2.00 per family/per session.
