Parent Teacher Association

The PTA at Woodchurch High School, is made up of a team of dedicated and enthusiastic parents and friends of the school.

The monthly meetings are lively and friendly and we are always looking for keen new members who have fresh ideas. The meetings are always attended by the Headteacher and the Deputy Headteachers who give an up to date report on school issues/developments. The members appreciate this opportunity to be kept informed, and to give their point of view.

The PTA raises money for the school by holding different events throughout the school year. Some of these are:

• The 100 Club, Christmas Raffle, Plant Sale, Car Boot Sale, Summer Fair/Raffle, New Parent Cheese and Wine Evening, Quiz Nights, even Bag Packing at local supermarkets
• The money raised is used to buy extra equipment for the benefit of all pupils or to subsidise school trips

New members will be made very welcome at our meetings.
