Bringing Learning to Life

Human Influenza Pandemic

Dear Parents / Carers

Following the media coverage and advice from the Local Authority I am writing to inform you of the procedures the school is implementing to ensure the wellbeing of your child whilst they are in school.

  • Posters have been placed around the building emphasising the need for a high level of personal hygiene.
  • All offices have been provided with antibacterial wipes so that telephones and hard surfaces can be hygienically cleaned.
  • Premises staff are ensuring that all toilets are open and high levels of hygiene are being maintained.
  • Any pupil who has recently returned from overseas travel in infected countries have been contacted and instructed, in line with HM Government guidelines, to remain at home for 7 days to guard against the possible spread of the infection.

Please see the links below for further information and guidance.

Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you have any further concerns or relevant information.

Yours sincerely

Ms R Phillips

Headteacher
