Open Evening

Once again, our Autumn Open Evening was a huge success – with the school welcoming almost 2,500 visitors, with prospective children and parents /carers visiting from all over the Wirral. There was a range of activities for out visitors to see, as they toured the building, including taking part in practical activities in the Science and Design Technology Curriculum Areas.

Our visitors also continue to be fascinated with the school farm, and with our alpacas in particular!

The Headteacher spoke of what makes Woodchurch High School Church of England Academy different from other schools, as well as speaking about the school vision, aims and ethos.

Feedback from our visitors was glowing! A huge thank to all our pupils who supported on the evening – over 450 voluntarily gave up their evening to be there, as well as to all out visitors for taking the time to come and see what school has to offer.

If you missed Open Evening, remember, we hold another evening in the Summer Term, as well as open days – but every day is open day, so please contact the school to arrange a mutually convenient time to visit.
