Engineering Roadshow
On 12 October three actors came from Engineering Construction Industry Training Board to run an Engineering Roadshow for around 100 Year 8-10 pupils, most of whom take GCSE Engineering. The roadshow was very interactive and entertaining and pupils learnt about the importance of engineering construction to our everyday lives. Part of the roadshow featured 2 young people Tom and Jessica who had taken up Engineering Constructions apprenticeships, gained degrees and had exciting jobs as project managers. Our pupils were really interested in the roadshow and we hope that as usual a significant number will progress into these areas when they leave Woodchurch High School.
