In addition, MPloy Solutions provide Career Advice to all pupils at Woodchurch High School. Our ‘lead’ Careers Advisers, Louise Cairns and Matt Paulson, are highly qualified professionals, up to Level 6 in Guidance, with years of experience. She offers impartial, independent, up-to-date advice and guidance, including presenting the various options available to pupils, to assist them in making decisions about the type of employment, training, Further Education or Higher Education they may wish to pursue after leaving school. Pupils are also provided with information about Labour Market Information which helps inform them about types of careers that may be available in their area, and which sectors have skills gaps currently and over the next 6 years.
After a Careers (Guidance) Interview, each pupil will be provided with an action plan which will detail the discussion, highlighting their options, next steps and how to carry out further research. These action plans are emailed to the pupil concerned via their school email address. Pupils from all Year groups (7-11) are able to book a careers appointment, and each form also is visited by one of the advisors throughout the year.

We know how tough the jobs market is out there at the moment so young people need to be equipped with all the right tools and skills to be successful in getting the job which they have been working towards.
