On Friday LAW AND THE COMMUNITY... THE JUSTICE OF AGE
14th March 2014 (11am-3.30pm) Woodchurch High School will be hosting "An Enactment of Crime!" with guest speakers Police Commissioner Jane Kennedy and Chief Constable of Merseyside, Jon Murphy
YEAR 8 MEXICAN PARADE!
Pupils in Y8 took part in a celebratory parade showcasing the work they had produced since the start of term. Mrs Simpson’s groups produced Aztec inspired large masks, in keeping with the South American carnival atmosphere, where everything is larger than life!
This year has once again been a great success. This was due in part to preparation, but also to the fact Work Experience is only one week long, pupils are therefore less likely to ‘give-up’ and show greater resilience.
Generally the half term following the Christmas break is quiet and uneventful. However this year proved to be an exception!
Some Year 10 Health and Social Care pupils recently had the opportunity to experience firsthand what it is like to care for a newborn baby.
VISIT TO CORONA HOUSE
On Monday 26th January one of the Year 9 GCSE Health and Social Care groups visited Corona House Residential Home in Prenton.
